Business Analyst IT Product Development

Job Description:

A highly motivated Business Analyst is required to lead the development of an IT product similar to Internshala, focusing on internship and job placement solutions. The role bridges business requirements with technical solutions to ensure a seamless user experience and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development & Requirement Gathering:

• Analyze and document business requirements for an internship/job portal.
• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and sales teams.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and study user expectations.
• Define product roadmaps, wireframes, and functional specifications.
• Gather feedback from recruiters, students, and professionals.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and API providers (e.g., payment gateways).
• Collaborate with UI/UX teams for a user-friendly design.

Project Coordination & Agile Implementation:

• Ensure software development cycles follow agile methodology.
• Define user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure quality.

Data Analysis & Performance Tracking:

• Monitor KPIs to assess product success.
• Implement analytics tools to track engagement and performance.
• Provide data-driven insights for improvements.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience: 1–3 years as a Business Analyst in IT product development (preferably EdTech or job portals).
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum.
• Proficiency in wireframing tools: Figma, Balsamiq, Adobe XD.
• Ability to create BRDs, FRDs, and detailed User Stories.
• Experience with API integrations, third-party services, and automation tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to AI-driven job recommendation systems.
• Understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and lead generation for job portals.
