Video Editor Internship

Role Overview

We are looking for a talented and dynamic Video Editor to join our creative team. This role blends strong video editing skills with the ability to contribute to storytelling and on-screen performance. You'll be involved in shaping engaging video content for various platforms, including social media, YouTube, and our educational products.

Responsibilities

• Edit video content for social media, YouTube, websites, and other platforms.
• Use acting and storytelling techniques to shape tone, emotion, and pacing.
• Collaborate with content creators and directors to align with project vision.
• Apply transitions, effects, and animations to enhance viewer engagement.
• Select and refine raw footage, apply color correction and audio mixing.
• Assist in video scripting and narrative structure when needed.
• Communicate with team members to meet project deadlines and expectations.
• Stay current with video editing trends, styles, and new technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Audition.
• Strong acting skills with the ability to contribute emotionally to content.
• Attention to detail and a sharp visual storytelling instinct.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Understanding of video production workflows, from pre- to post-production.
• Familiarity with video format and platform-specific requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Motion graphics and animation skills using Adobe After Effects.
• Audio design and sound editing expertise using Adobe Audition.
• Experience creating content for social media platforms.
• Background in acting, storytelling, or performing arts is a plus.
